We would like to thank CÉGEP de l’Outaouais for the opportunity given to present and discuss with the francization program graduates the issue of recognizing prior learning and competencies of professionals who have obtained their diplomas outside of Canada and Quebec.
This discussion reinforced our belief that there could be found many different possible solutions and it is our responsibility to formulate and present them before the government requesting a systemic and systematic change of the current situation of the skilled newcomers.
Together, we can make a difference!
